Ungraduated glass aspirator bottles have a ribbed sidearm outlet located at the base of the bottle for attaching tubing and an open, beaded neck.

Aspirator bottles are autoclavable, and offers superior chemical durability and a low temperature gradient. They can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks.

Eisco borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: strain point of 515 °C, annealing point of 565 °C, and softening point of 820 °C.
