The Meker burner produces a short and very hot flame compared to a standard burner. A heat-intensifying Monel grid at the top of tube, approximately 1.75" in Ø, breaks the flame into many smaller flames, resulting in a larger area of maximum temperature. Both air and gas supply can be adjusted, allowing for separate control of flame height and temperature. Gas control is managed easily with a thumb knob on the bottom of the burner and air supply is controlled by adjusting the air ports. Features a highly-stable octagonal base. Burner measures 8.6" tall, and the base measures 3.3" wide. Maximum temperature: 1780 °C.
