For thermometers 89094-746 and 89094-748, each sensor probe is sealed in a bottle filled with GRAS nontoxic glycol. The solution insulates the sensor from rapid temperature changes, such as when refrigerator door is opened. Bottle dimensions: 2.5x6.4 cm (1x21/2"). Thermometer 89094-750 has two chemical-resistant, waterproof sensor probes. Probe diameter: 5mm (3/16"). Probe length: 1.9 cm (3/4").
Display simultaneously shows maximum, minimum, and current probe temperatures, as well as room temperature. Alarm feature provides continuous visual and audio alerts when temperature rises above or falls below a programmable set point, even if temperature returns to non-alarm range. Dual probe thermometers provide individual readings and alerts for each probe. Sensor and 3m (10') micro-cable continue to perform accurately when submerged in water. Micro-cable permits refrigerator doors to close on it without affecting the seal. Thermometers feature one-button self-calibration.
Certifications: Thermometers fulfill all CDC thermometer and vaccine thermometer requirements. A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
