Kord-Valmark by Akro-Mils disposable polystyrene petri dishes are optically clear and radiation sterilized
Slippable polystyrene petri dishes are recommended for standard microbiology and general laboratory use, including the use of automated filling and streaking systems. Slippable lids provide a semi-stacking feature for hand use, while ensuring ease of use in automated equipment. Automation lids have no rim, ensuring ease of use in automated equipment. Select products are available with Side Arrows and/or ISO Mark Targets. Slippable petri dishes are available in 60 x 15 mm, 100 x 15 mm (Mono and Bi plate), 100 x 20 mm, 100 x 25 mm and 150 x 15 mm sizes.
Kord-Valmark by Akro-Mils Petri Dishes are sterile if sleeves are unopened. Ventilation (3, 4 OR 8) ribs reduce condensation and allow air circulation. Consistent flatness allows for even media distribution. Flared lid skirt and squared corners allow for easy one-hand operation, especially with gloves. Product is Traceable by lot and SKU number. Certificates of Compliance are available upon request.
