Birth and Death of Stars Astroslides
On the surface there are few similarities between a human being and a star.

But stars like humans have a life cycle; they are born, grow to adulthood and they die - and like people stars differ in size, weight and color. This set will introduce students to the life cycle of stars from stellar nursery to black hole. Also touches on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. An accompanying text folder provides the information about each microslide. Viewer available separately.

Set Includes: A Stellar Nursery, Young Stars, Our Middle-Aged Star, Senior Citizens, A Star Blows Its Top, A Supernova Remnant, Death Throes and Black Hole.
