We purchased this kit as a template for trying to develop a similar activity on our own. For the price we paid it was a good investment but once you have the basics in the kit you can replenish the consumables and do it yourself.

Using dragons of various shapes and sizes, students learn about dominant alleles, phenotypes, and other fundamentals of genetics. There are 169 possible dragon results of the provided crosses and nine activities leading students through fertilization, alleles chromosomes, homozygous, heterozygous, genotype-phenotype dominant recessive, and much more. Includes instructions and materials for 15 setups.

The kit is also available for purchase with a link to a NewPath digital lesson, which includes a variety of resources on the topic, including background information, illustrations and self-assessments.
