This time-saving kit combines the bright colors of flame testing, the analytical skills of spectroscopy, and the safety and ease of self-contained dropper systems.

  • No Hazardous Hydrochloric Acid
Using our unique self-contained droppers that eliminate the need for hazardous hydrochloric acid, students flame test and observe the characteristic colors of known solutions. They also test to determine the metals in unknown solutions and use spectroscopes to analyze bright line spectra.

The entire lab, developed by chemistry teachers Ron Tempest and Nabil Haddad, can be completed in 40 minutes.
