Free Fall Apparatus on Stand

This unique device demonstrates that objects of different weights fall at the same speed when they're in a vacuum.

The apparatus consists of a see-through acrylic tube measuring 26.75"L x 1.5" D (68cm x 3.8cm) that is fitted with a removable plug at one end and a stopcock for connection to a vacuum pump at the other end. The tube is mounted on a heavy, cast-iron tripod base but it can be easily removed from the base, if needed.
