Ward's® Koch's Postulates Demonstration Lab Activity
Show the Relationship Between a Given Organism and a Particular Disease

Koch’s postulates, a four-step procedure which proves that certain bacteria produce specific diseases, can be employed to illustrate how a particular fungus causes disease on a piece of fruit. With this lab activity and oranges you supply, students follow the steps that Robert Koch derived in 1876, to connect a microorganism to a disease. It comes with a freeze-dried culture of Penicillium notatum, enough materials for 30 students, a teacher’s guide, and student copymaster. Note: Coupon included for perishable materials. Redeem by mail, fax, phone, or e-mail.

Canada: Containment Level 2 – PHAC License required.
