In this experiment, students will compare the energy efficiency of LED, incandescent, and compact fluorescent lights when tested utilizing standard, wind, and solar power sources. Six Ultra Brite LEDs produce high output with efficiency of 150ma at 12V. The plug and play design allows students to connect the Light Engines directly to a power source. Unlike 1–watt surface mount LEDs, the 1–watt LED light engines do not require a heat sink. Designed for use with regulated power supply or external LED driver module.
