Plain English Map of The Human Glycolysis Enzymes Kit (Student Folders)

Discover how genes are responsible for the inner workings of our cells. High school biology teacher Susan Offner developed this kit which features illustrated student folders.

Students use the diagrams to see the chromosomal location of ten genes that code for ten enzymes (these enzymes are responsible for mediating the ten chemical reactions that break a glucose molecule into two molecules of pyruvic acid).

Students also learn about the glycolysis pathway and genetic research involving these enzymes. AP.
