Physically create the weather conditions you want students to understand with this unique set of manipulatives.
- Some assembly required
- Teacher instructions included
- Grades 7–12
New York State Earth Science teacher, Adam Hovey, developed these super-sized chalkboard weather manipulatives to help students create stationary and occluded fronts, mobilize magnetic warm and cold fronts, and push air masses out of the way as a new air mass takes over a region. The close-up visualization and hands-on interaction with weather elements furthers student understanding of how different types of weather are created. Kit includes an overhead transparency of North America for projection onto a magnetic dry board or chalkboard (not included).
