No, I didn't recommend
Ordered these as part of a Project Lead the Way course. Could not find any sickled cells in the sample and the sample is very light.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for taking the time to let us know that our Sickle Cell slide didn’t meet your expectations. Because of the nature of their disease, blood is not collected from patients that are experiencing an active Sickle Cell crisis. Instead, we opt for those that exhibit the disease, but are not having an acute medical emergency. Healthier patients with Sickle Cell Anemia will have a smaller number of sickle-cells per sample than someone “in crisis,” and it appears that we didn’t do a good enough job ensuring that there were sufficient examples to view in this case. We sincerely apologize that our slide fell-short of your expectations, and we will be contacting you directly to arrange to have the slides returned and, if you wish, replaced.
