Teach Students About Probability and Mendelian Genetics
Sickle-cell anemia is used as the model in this laboratory activity to teach students about the most basic Mendelian cross. They will use a vacuum-formed Punnett Square and colored pop beads to determine the effect of chance on the outcome of this cross. It includes materials for four setups and instructions.
