Great for lower grades - I was given this book although I teach upper elementary science. I put it out during my simple machines unit since it has great visuals and I use it to shoe students examples of the simple machines "in action." The book would be wonderful to use in the lower grade classroom. Pictures are bright and include children utilizing the simple machines in their everyday lives.
