This large vacuum-formed board has a professional appearance that will encourage students to become involved.
A radio receiver mounted on the board can be switched from individual listening mode to loudspeaker monitoring of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration broadcasts.
In the event of a severe local condition (tornado, hurricane, blizzard, etc.), a buzzer indicates that an alert is about to be broadcast. The markable, erasable board contains a map of Southern Canada and the lower United States, space for recording data and a space for a local map (not included).
Includes: 14 study prints and a teacher’s guide.
