The generator blade assembly consists of six vanes, 37 cm in diameter, with a total sail area of 77 cm². This is connected to a DC generator and 1.5 V bulb to indicate electrical output.

Other features include a full cover for outdoor use, a weighted base, a structural aluminum tower, and a wind-seeking, balanced tail assembly. The unit may be used outside, or inside with an air supply.
