Product Details

Separatory funnels with ground cones, plastic stoppers, and glass key stopcocks, made of borosilicate 3.3 glass.

  • Made of high quality, heavy-duty borosilicate 3.3 glass - can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks
  • Used to separate the components of a mixture into two immiscible liquids of different densities
  • Fitted with a glass key stopcock for precise drop-wise dispensing of the denser separated liquid
  • Features a ground glass cone with and interchangeable plastic stopper
  • Ungraduated

Ungraduated, pear-shaped separating funnels are made of high quality borosilicate glass. They feature a ground cone, plastic stopper, and glass key stopcock. Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient - can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks.

Eisco Labs borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances:
- Strain Point 515 °C
- Annealing Point 565 °C
- Softening Point 820 °C
