Students re-create the structure of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins and visualize how these molecules function together. They begin by constructing and joining simple sub-unit molecules to create disaccharides, polysaccharides, polypeptides, and lipids. In the process, students learn about the structural characteristics and the chemical processes that occur as they form more complex molecules.

The kit includes a teacher's guide, a student copymaster, and enough material for 10 setups.
