The digital display has a backlit light for easy-to-read measurements in all light conditions. The 60 second auto shut off helps to extend the life of the two included AA batteries.

The bowl is removable and has a pour spout to make liquid transfers easier. It nests onto the platform to hold it securely in place. Top bowl opening is 7" and approximately 2.3" deep. The side of the bowl has volume increments from 500 to 1100 ml, in increments of 100ml. The bowl is made from ABS plastic, and is not dishwasher or microwave safe. The tare function zeroes out the scale with the bowl on top, allowing measurement of the material weight only.
