These upright laboratory refrigerators will fulfill all general-purpose applications, with adequate space for ventilation. General-purpose refrigerators are ideal economical units for when precise temperature control and maintenance are not essential and there are no requirements for temperature alarms. Many specialized models are also available, however, that are good for housing flammable substances and explosive materials, or for labs that require colder or more precise temperature measurements to maintain sample integrity. Various sizes range from triple-wide upright models to short undercounter units.
