En protégeant contre les courts-circuits et les surtensions, elles préservent la longévité des machines coûteuses. En cas de panne de courant, les dispositifs électroniques rétablissent automatiquement leurs fonctions afin de protéger les matériaux sensibles. KidWind® Wind Turbine Generators
This is the primary generator for wind turbine experiments because it runs smoothly and provides high power output at a relatively low RPM. This is the competition generator used in KidWind Challenge events. This generator has 4-foot leads which are attached with shrink-wrapped, reinforced soldering. Typical output in non-geared wind devices is 0.5–2.5 V at 0.1–0.3 A.

KidWind® High Torque Generator
The High Torque Generator is another option for your wind turbine generator. When compared to the standard Wind Turbine Generator, this High Torque Generator will produce lower voltage but higher current for a given rotor RPM. The High Torque Generator is great for load devices with higher current draw, such as the water pump. This generator has the same 2 mm driveshaft as the standard Wind Turbine Generator, so the Wind Turbine Hub is interchangeable with either motor. The generator also has 4-foot leads with shrink-wrap reinforced soldering.
